This game has quite a few scenes, lore, and imagery that may frighten a younger player. One example is Deepnest, which is a very dark area that has quite a few creepy enemies. Some of the enemies might appear scary for some.

It's a difficult (but not impossible) game, at best, so frustration might be the worst they will encounter. But it has no bad language, not sexual content, no substance abuse, the violence is not gore, I don't remember any suicide theme. I think that this is great for people who love adventures and action games. This game has so many possibilities! I rate it 7+ because there are many scary scenes but no so much violence. I had so much fun playing this game!

This game should be 12+ or 9+. The media takes violence too seriously. You are killing demons as an undead knight. I know that tat might leave a bitter taste in your mouth, but if your kid is set on getting this game and is 12 and older at least 9 then it should be fine.
